‘A Borrowed Gift’ is exactly what it was, so a fitting title for the second album, from one of the world's former leading treble singers.
Recording from the age of 11, Cormac’s haunting, golden vocals have delighted millions and his soulful timbre often inspires online comments like "this is one of the best renditions of this song that I have ever heard"
With performances on 'Britain’s Got Talent', 'BBC Young Chorister of the Year' and his treble swansong at 'The Royal Albert Hall', Cormac has proven time and again, his innate ability to interpret not just traditional chorister repertoire but a range of timeless classics in his exceptionally unique way.
Breathing a tenderness into his delivery, this is something relatively unique in such a young singer. One viewer said on Cormac's recent ‘Somewhere’ (West Side Story) YouTube video
"You pack so much emotion into your singing, you bring tears to my eyes"
and another said,
"It is rare I am reduced to tears but this was THAT time - the beautiful angelic tones!"
These are just two, of the thousands of comments, left for Cormac on his music videos (YouTube). It is very rewarding when people are inspired to take the time to leave a comment and let him know how they feel after they’ve watched and listened to him sing.
'A Borrowed Gift' is a compilation of carefully selected songs, independently recorded over the last few years.
It brings Cormac’s treble singing journey to its’ inevitable end and both he and his family are hugely grateful to everyone who’s supported him in the last few years.
Complemented by ADDITIONAL songs that have NOT been released before, there’s even a few bonus tracks, of him singing in his changed voice, for you to enjoy as well.
A self-funded CD, made possible by the commitment of Cormac’s parents and generous donations from his fans, we really hope you enjoy listening to Cormac's borrowed gift.
